I am a member of the Brethertons Management Team, one of 5 partners responsible for the day to day running of the business. Additionally, I head the Client Services Team, which is one of the newer, strategic teams within the business who support the culture and ethos of positioning the customer at the centre of everything we do. The Client Services Team is made up of three elements: Marketing, Key Client Management and New Business Development. The Marketing Team hosts around 75 in house webinars per year, run monthly Business Networking Clubs in Rugby, Banbury and Bicester and support all of our activity through online digital marketing. Our aim is to ensure that our customers find Brethertons ‘very easy to do business with.’ Our team of three Key Client Managers work hand in hand with our customers, prospective and current, helping them to build their businesses through excellent legal support, delivered to those customers, just when they need it. The New Business Development Team forms the third element of the Client Services Team, working hard with our customers by phone and email to ensure they are receiving the best possible levels of customer care and innovative legal service, across our private individual and commercial customer services. I’ve worked in senior management roles for almost 20 years in the logistics and legal sectors and the focus of those roles has been in Operations and general management as well as New Business Development. I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CIlex) and have a BA Degree in Business Administration from Strathclyde University. After graduation and moving to central England from Glasgow, I completed the General Management Programme at Cranfield School of Management and I am currently midway through the Post Graduate Award in Strategic Leadership at Warwick Business School. Amongst the achievements I’m most proud of, I would include winning the award for Most Inspirational Woman in a Business sponsored by Natwest and the Banbury Chamber of Commerce and the team’s win of the Oxfordshire Business Award for Outstanding Customer Service 2014 as it was a non-legal industry award and we want to be benchmarked against other excellent businesses in the region, not just those in the legal services sector. Recently the Client Services Team also won the 360Legal Group Award for Outstanding Client Service 2014. I’m really proud of this because we were benchmarked against the industry’s finest legal services teams!
